Let’s just say... we owe a lot to Bumble and to our amazing “mutual friend” and bridesmaid Alexa, who unknowingly took the credit for introducing us for months.

Truth is, we matched on Bumble in the summer of 2020. Both thinking we’d just meet someone to hang out with before heading back to school. What we didn’t expect was to meet each other.

We met up for what we thought would be "just another free dinner," and ended up spending every moment we could for the next six days together and we've been inseparable ever since. By day six, we’d said “I love you” and made it official. It sounds fast (because it was), but when you know, you know—and we just knew.

As fate would have it, our colleges were only an hour apart, which meant we spent those next few years visiting each other every weekend, making memories on each other’s campuses, and turning long-distance into something that brought us even closer. So yes, Bumble gets the credit, but Alexa, thanks for playing along (and making our story sound a little more classic at family dinners).
